MSCRM 4.0 SYNC ISSUE WITH OUTLOOK 2003 RRS feed

  • Hi All,

     

     

    I am stuck in a scenario.

     

    I have two CRM organizations. My outlook 2003 sync with one of the organization and does not sync with the other as i change the organization.

     

     

    Also i am able to see the organization record in set regarding but as i select any of the records and submit it. It gives me an SQL error. Also when i see the CRM SYNC icon in the tray bar it shows disconnected.

     

    However if I repeat the same process for the other organization it works completely fine.

  • Hi Shivam, it sounds as though the CRM for Outlook client and one/or both organizations is not configured properly. In order to troubleshoot this, you will need to check: the CRM for Outlook Diagnostics Wizard, the CRM for Outlook trace logs, your sync privileges in both CRM organizations, the errors/trace logs, etc.

    Have you tried any troubleshooting procedures already?

  • have you tried clearing your temp internet files/cookies in IE?

    have you also tried accessing the second Org via IE? possibly check your security roles in the 2nd Org as well
