DAX:replace text into a new column RRS feed

  • Background: l got a data source with column Date,Project ID,Project Description in powerBI,the Project ID is unique,but Project Descriptions are changed by PMs among different dates,I want to create a new calculation column to unify the project description which have same Project ID,replace with the text of earliest text of project description,how to write the DAX codes? Thank you in advance!

    date            project id         project description          new column

    2019-1-1     123                 project xxxx                   project xxx

    2019-1-1     345                 project yyyy                   project yyy

    2019-3-3     123                 cghjjkkkllllll                    project xxx

  • Do you want to do this in Small Basic? Are the dates in calendar sequence?
