MCITP exam retake RRS feed

  • Question

  • I read somewhere that if a person fails the MCITP exam on their first attempt, they can retake the exam free of charge within a specific period of time through Prometric.

    Is this true?

    Thanks

  • This is only true if you signed up for the second shot voucher. Sadly though, microsoft hasn't had this offer since 2011. Second shot would allow you to take the exam a second time for free IF AND ONLY IF you registered that exam session through their second shot program.

So no - at this point what you said isn't true b/c MS hasn't put out a second shot promotion since last year.
