  • Why does the watermark say build 3790. Isn't it suppose to say something like 4242?

  • The watermark on the desktop is the build version of the base operating system. Build 1424.2 is the build number of the WHS console, and all related components.

  • You can find the build of Windows Home Server components by

     

    1.  opening up the Windows Home Server Console

    2.  Server Settings

    3.  Resources

     

    You should see 1424.2 for the various components.
