CRM 4.0 Queue Impersonation RRS feed

  • Hi Guys,

    I have one question regarding accepting and then replying to queue. ( I am using CRM 4.0)

    I have one queue set up with email address and other required field. So any incoming email with that address comes up in this queue.

    Now, I want to achieve functionality where if loggedin user try to reply to this email from queue, he/she should be able to send it on behalf of other crm user.

    As a System Admin user I can do this as 'From' field of this email allow me to choose any user from CRM but normal user can't do this.

    I have notices that there is a specail permission under roles -->Business Management tab --> Miscellaneous Privileges --> 'Send Email as Another User' which I have chaneg it to 'organisation' level

    but still normal user can't  reply queue email as another user. (Our IT person has changed email router settings where normal user can send email on behalf of other user so that check is also done)

    Any ideas or workaround would be appreciated.

  • It worked after creating separate role for Business Management tab --> Miscellaneous Privileges --> 'Send Email as Another User' permission.
