OneCare registry corruption (temporarily removes user-profile) RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a really irritating problem with OneCare.  Running Vista Ultimate 64-bit.

When I boot the computer, occassionally, instead of getting my regular user-profile, I get a "default" blank Vista user-profile.  There is an event log entry telling me that OneCare caused a registry corruption when it shut down.  It's annoying, as you have to re-login to clear the problem, and it doesn't always work the 1st time.  This morning, I had to re-login 3 times.

Please fix it.  Attached (below) is the text from the event-log event where the problem is first **reported**.
