Finding my Microsoft Dynamics CRM Server Name RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am trying to confirm my Microsoft Dynamics CRM Server name, When i put it into IE it goes nowhere.  I get the org# from my CRM Settings under WSDL.  I think it is https://dev.crm.dynamics.com/org#

The problem I am running into is within the CRM Email Router not authenticating and loading email from a Exchange Mailbox into an email queue.

  • You don't need to configure server name. You can use your existing URL to configure email router.

    Check this.

  • I found what my CRM server name is, it's simply my company's URL with my org# after it.  I still get the error:

The E-mail Router Configuration Manager was unable to retrieve user and queue information from the Microsoft Dynamics CRM server.  This may indicate that the Microsoft Dynamics CRM server is busy.  Verify that URL 'https://COMPANYNAME.crm.dynamics.com/org#' is correct.  Additionally, this problem can occur if specified access credentials are insufficient.  To try again. click Load Data.  (The request failed with HTTP status 401: Unauthorized.)

All I can click is ok.  I have admin rights on the computer, I am using a CRM user name and password with unrestricted access to the CRM.

When I hid load within the CRM Email Router on the last tab labeled "Users, Queues, and Forward Mailboxes, the error above is all that comes up.
