So my Dad sent me this computer with Windows Vista on it and I have the anytime upgrade cd with the GPN and FPN codes. But it does not have the  product key code on it. I have asked my Dad if he has it but he does not have it anymore. I don't know what to do. I do not think that it is fair that I should have to buy a whole new product. When I have had the computer for a year and he had it for probably a year before that and now all of a sudden it is not valid.

The Key in use here is the Default Key for Windows Vista Starter.
It appears to be an OEM System Builder install - which does not 'fit' with the Default Key in use, which usually report as being Retail (but since Starter is OEM only, it may be an exception)
.For what version and edition of Windows is the machine licensed, according to the COA sticker on the case?

You say that you have an Anytime Upgrade - since Starter is the lowest edition of Vista, for what edition Upgrade is the Starter valid? (note that AU's  are only valid between certain editions, so you cannot use an AU for Home Premium to Ultimate for an upgrade from Starter).

Have you recently re-installed the OS?

You should ask your dad how he acquired the Anytime Upgrade - if it was purchased online from the MS Store, the Key will probably still be available on his store account if he logs in using the same credentials.
If he purchased it in a physical store it should be in the package with which the disk came.
