CRM 4.0 How to handle bounced e-mail? RRS feed

  • Any suggestion/tool about automatically handling MS CRM 4.0 bounced e-mail?


     I'm talking about handling hundreds or thousands of bounced e-mail messages sent from MS CRM 4.0 using the distribute campaign feature. MS CRM Dynamics 4.0 handles UNSUBSCRIBE requests automatically but what about Bounced e-mail? I don't know any on-premise tool to handle this, do you? How do you handle this problem?

    As far as I am aware, CRM will not track the status of an email. You could write a custom service to check emails on the server for bounced emails and take the appropriate action.
