  I would like to know why nothing works on Windows Vista starter, most programs aren't compatible with it. So I decided I'll upgrade, because I don't want to lose all my other programs and files. Even upgrading doesn't work, I don't understand why I can't upgrade from Starter, even the windows vista upgrade advisor isn't compatible and wont work on vista starter!
  What should I do..because I don't want to lose my programs I can't back them up anywhere else. Thanks for your time
