Hello
I am installing a new fileserver at a Customer site.
I have prepared a Windows Server 2012 Datacenter FileServer with 2 disks: c: and s:
File server role is installed.
I have shared several folders on s: after copying data, but even if logged as domain admin, I cannot access these folders getting "insufficient permissions" error.
I had a test: I created a temp folder on c: (c:\temp) with permission "server\users" - Full control; I have shared the folder with everyone full control share permission, copied some file and test: no problem accessing the folder from my win8pro
laptop.
I had another test: created a temp folder on s: (s:\temp) with same permissions and shared it as Temp2 with everyone full control: I cannot access the folder.
Shouldn't be a firewall problem since I can access the share on c:; sholudn't be a permission problem because the folders have the same permission.
If connected in RDP to the server i try \\server\temp2 I can access the folder content.
Any Idea or Suggestion?
Thank you very much
Valeriano
