  • Hi team,

    I have commercial license of windows 7. But some application/software not running on win 7 so I have installed windows XP professional (it’s not genuine). will Microsoft downgrade only one system, with win 7 license key?

    Downgrade Rights for Software Acquired through Select Plus, Select License, Open License, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), and Full Packaged Product (FPP), by Product Pool

    This is a Word doc specifying the availability of download rights.  The number of copies per product key depends entirely on the license in use.

    Downgrade licenses are only available to users with OEM-installed Professional or Enterprise editions – you would have to negotiate directly with MS
