Any experience with one of the following anti-virus software an MS CRM 4.0 RRS feed

  •  Hi @all,

    actually we plan to rollout ms crm outlook online client in different regional departments.
    The departments used different anti - virus software.
    So I would ask If anybody have make good or bad experience with one of the following anti-virus software in combination with mscrm 4.0

    • Trend Micro 8.0
    • Sophos Anti-Virus 
    • eTrust CA Threat Manager r8.1
    • Kaspersky AV 6

    Because in an other project we had different issues with McAffee, (e.g. see here) I would be glad to here any opinions to these products

  • I've not had any problems with Symantec on laptops with the Outlook client.   Windows Security essentials also did not give me any troubles and I like the price.

    Needless to say that patching and good computer hygene are often better defenses against infection, But I did not see a problem with the two I mentioned.   I did however racthet back Symantec because it can be too intrusive on checking every thing that runs.
