CRM 4.0 @ Rollup 10 - Added 2 new Org's (via Deployment Mgr) do not show up in CRM in drop down menus.

Question
-
Good day to all. I am new this CRM forum and forums in general...so please bear with me.
- The CRM Server (IFD) with all server rolles is a Win2k3 SP2 64 Bit server with CRM 4.0 @ Rollup 10 and with Deployment Mgr installed
- The SQL Server is a Win2k3 SP2 64 bit running SQL 2005 SP3 with Reporting Services and CRM SRSS Data connector installed @ Rollup 10.
- I installed Rollp 7 first then Rollup 10
- I then used Deployment Mgr on the CRM Server to Add (2) new organization both of which were added with correct param's (SQL/SRSS) and were added with no errors.
- I can see the new DB Org's in the SQL Server with the " _MSCRM " named appended.
- When I log into CRM (I am a Admin / Customizer) I can not change a user to one of the new ORG's because the ORG's do now show up in the drop down menu.
- Am I missing something?
addendum...
I did the Rollup 7 then Rollup 10 due to an issue in RU7 where the ORG didnt have metadata hotfix applied correctly...Hence i went to the RU10.
Thanks
-Ed

You will not find it inside CRM because Organizations are completly separate instances (different AD groups, users, SSRS servers etc.).
Different organizations are shareing only tier 2 and tier 3 (applications and web) and partly tier 1 (configuration database) but main database (organization) is different for every instance.
If you want to add user: User1 to CRM1, CRM2 and CRM3 you need to log on to each and in the Settings-> Administrations-> Users -> add user1

You can access your new organizations using the following urls:
They have different URLs, different databases and complete isolation with each other. So users cannot be moved from 1 organizations to another. You need to delete from one and add in the other.

Hi Ed,
can you describe which drop down menu you mean? Each organisation is independent from the others.

I have 3 ORGs... Deafult is in use and assigned to users. Org2 and Org3 created yesterday.
- Default
- Org2
- Org3
Task/Goal: To assign change user to a different Organization (Org2 / Org3 other than Default).
Once logged into CRM...
- Settings
- Administration
- Users
- Hi-Lite User
- More Actions
- Change Business Unit
- Click Foler with Magnfying glass
- New window opens showing Default only
- Org2 and Org3 are missing from the list
- Shouldn't they be there as choices?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Eddie,
Business Unit's are not the same as Organizations.

Multiple Organizatoins are now sucessfully accessed via external Web Link. (Users were added first via CRM Admin login on the Internal network / AD Domain).
- Created multiple ORGs in CRM (Enterprise / IFD+On-Premise configuration) using Deployment Mgr @ update level rollup 10
- They all show up in my DB server under the same "Default" server named instance.
- The Report Server link is the same for all my Orgs and accessible.
- Each ORG within CRM is conceptually referred to as the "Parent Business Unit".
- All my ORG's don't show up in CRM under a "single Login. This is WAD. (This would be way cool if they did....A True Admin for all ORG's for the "Hosting Provider")
- My Admin ID that was used for the CRM initial install was able to access each unique URL with the login credentials via the inside domain network / AD access). I was able to add the users in as needed.
- I use IIS to Redirect all requests to force HTTPS / SSL so my URL access to the internal Links via my AD Domain are non standard. This is a customer access via IFD ONLY model.
- I was able to access each ORG externally using the exampled following links below and only need to enter and save the login ID/PW for the initial acces for site.
- Bear in mind for my IIS config (a) The Default Org will ALWAYS load if HTTP is used instead of the explicit HTTPS. (b) The Default ORG will load if no ORG is specified in the URL. Again, a WAD. (Works As Designed)
https://MyCRM.Domain.net/ORG1 - Default Org.
I know there are other settings for AD to enable security groups and uesrs to those groups.
I figure I share to the community.
Thanks to kgorczewski and ckeller and Akif for their posts / responses
....Getting a Clue I am.
