Missing Character in Windows 7 Product Key RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi One of the systems that I upgraded recently to Windows 7 Professional – 64 Bit OEM, had not been activated in a timely manner. When the client went to read the key, that I put on the side of the box, something had smudged the first character, which has made it unreadable. The rest of the code is very clear, so I need to know I you could advise what the missing character might be, if I sent it to you?

  • You will need to try all the variants if the character is illegible.

    Note that the following characters cannot be used - A E I L N O S U Z 1 0 - so don't bother trying unless you like the noise it makes :)

Noel Paton | Nil Carborundum Illegitemi | CrashFixPC | The Three-toed Sloth
No - I do not work for Microsoft, or any of its contractors.
