Sisco call manager 6 under virtual server RRS feed

  • Question

  • Wat would be nice for custommers is to be able to show them demo's.
    Cisco callmanager 6 doenst work however under virtual server.
    I know there is a vmware image for it (provided by cisco) has anyone tried to get that trick under virtual server 2005R2 ?
    What i want to show is having OCS2007 + callmanager 6 under preferably MS virtualization.
    Since the rest of the lab also uses MS virtual server i would like to use one virtualization technique
    Since callmanger 6 is widely used, and OCS2007 would also talk to it in a non virtualized world i'm hoping some people can port callmanager 6 to virtual server.

  • I have CUCM6.0.1, OCS and Exchange runnig on a VMware Server 1.0.4 environment (for lab and demos)

    If you have de DVD media from cisco you have to create a Virtual Machine with the following settings:

    - Red Hat Linux Enterprise 3;

    - 2048 MB RAM

    - 2 Processors (would be great)

    - IDE HDD with 23GB

    - Use only one NIC

    Boot machine and follow the setup instructions. I could have to try several attempts since some components options have trouble on the setup/detection phase.

    But it works fine!
