Outlook Express won't connect..... RRS feed

    I have some installed hardware on my WHS that will send an e-mail if it goes haywire so it can be repaired.  Not sure if I really need Outlook Express to get the mail moving, but I sort of think you might.  I have configured the program to connect to my ISP (Verizon) and while it works from all my client systems, it will not connect from the WHS.  Verizon is telling me that it is a problem with Outlook and not Verizon. 

     

    Have I missed a setting or policy in the server which is causing the issue or is there an update to Outlook Express of somesort that I don't have.

    You shouldn't need Outlook Express to send that email. For problems configuring that hardware (and the software that goes with it) you should contact the vendor.
