  • Thanks. Errrm...but i came across this website:

    http://beyondrelational.com/blogs/dinesh/archive/2010/06/22/getting-started-with-bing-map-in-silver-light.aspx

and have downloaded the silverlight application into my visual studio. However, in one of the steps shown, one of the codes that were asked to be added into my MainPage.xaml  creates an error of "Data at the root level is invalid" after running the program in my visual studio. This is the error code:

    xmlns:m= "clr-namespace:Microsoft.Maps.MapControl;assembly=Microsoft.Maps.MapControl"

Do you have any idea what has gone wrong? What should I do to proceed to the next step and to display the maps in the browser, shown in the link i copied above?

    Hello StressLady,

It seem good, but you did not mention in your question you want to discussed about the Bing MAP application for Silverlight, as you have posted your question in Smart Device forum and Windows Mobile section so that Mr.Vinoth has provided very good references accordingly.

This forum is specially dedicated for Windows Mobile based devices. whatever link you have posted that is Bing Map implementing in Silverlight Application Not in Smart Device.
