IE9 Uninstall Issue RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have IE9 on a Windows 7 computer. Whenever I try to uninstall from Program and Features, I get an error message stating "An error has occured. Not all updates were successfully uninstalled." I also tried the command line fix I found, but that was not successful either. The last thing I tried was Microsoft Fix It and even that gave an error message. It stated: "Troubleshooting cannot continue because an error has occured. We're sorry, but we couldn't verify the integrity of one or more components and cannot run the troubleshooter now. Please try again later." I ususall can rollback IE9 to IE8 pretty easily, but this time it does not want to cooporate. I am trying to avoid reimaging the machine.
