Bitlocker on USB Devices RRS feed

  • Question

  • This may be in the wrong place.

I was wondering if there is a way to put bit locker on a USB device and then boot off the device and require a password in order to get the USB device to boot? I am trying take a USB device that has a disk wiping program on it and then I want to encrypt it so that only authorized personnel are able to use it. But when I put bit locker on the device it it not recognized but the system as a bootable device.

I would appreciate any and all help.
