Description of Archiving and CDR Tables RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi There,

I have been trying to find a detail description of the tables located on the Archiving and CDR server. I have found a basic schema of the tables here

    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb964005.aspx

but nothing more detailed than that (ie description of available fields, their types, how the tables interrelate etc).

What I am looking at doing is extracting the details of all the voice calls.

    Any information would be appreciated.

    Troy.

  • Maybe you can start by looking at the ArchivingCDRreporter from the OCS 2007 Resource Kit

    http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=b9bf4f71-fb0b-4de9-962f-c56b70a8aecd&displaylang=en

You can extend the Querries look at this article

    http://blogs.technet.com/jitreddy/archive/2008/07/31/archiving-cdr-reporter-tool-and-custom-sql-queries.aspx

You can also dive into the Databases with SQL Server Management Studio and start building your own querries with the designer

  • Hi, the ArchivingCDRreporter tool is a good start to know what kind of details and queries you can get from the archiving service. If you are looking for more specific data I strongly recommend you to get the table from an ODBC client and build your own querries... Eventhough there are many tables, in fact, you only have to work with four or five of them.
On the other hand,  i´m interested on the specific Live Meeting usage data and i didn´t find anything in the reporter tool and in the tables themselves either. i even think that archiving server does not collect the statistics data of Live Meeting... Anyone can help me or know anything about that?
    thanks
