autoexec.bat

    Question

  • Using Windows 7 pro 64 bit

I know the autoexec.bat is considered a relic nowadays, but I would like to do something similar, perhaps.

Due to occasional power failures, the system will restart but the program I was running does not restart. I have to constantly keep my eye on it. It has happened twice now in the last two days.

I would like the program to restart after a power failure even though I am not logged in.

I tried using a scheduled task and it did do this except that the program running in the background is not visible to me which is what I want.

    Any suggestions?
