MAK key failing to activate RRS feed

  • Question

  • We're a public school and have MAK on our machines right now because we haven't reached the 25 necessary for KMS yet...

We can usually activate 1 machine a day (strange) and then the rest fail with error 0x80072EFE code - something about connections. I ran MGADiag, and here is the output:

Hoping someone could shed some light on the situation....a firewall/port issue perhaps?

  • Hello, Matt

From the error, it does appear to be a connection problem. If you have any third party firewall or other securitys oftware installed, you may try temporarily disabling it and activating.

You may also try using the phone activation method.
