Database and server disk sizing info for OCS 2007 R2 RRS feed

  • Question

  • I'm looking to implement OCS 2007 R2 using only the IM feature for now.  The information regarding database size and local file storage is pretty vague.  Anyone have any numbers based on real world experience.  User count is ~5000.

The two OCS servers will be VMs, which appear to be supported for running the IM feature.  When we move to video conferencing and other things we'll put those on physical hardware.
