At my school, sometimes we file share.
We guest login all share the same login : Patron, THEN? If you need it personalized, our browsers? Well we have all the browsers downloaded and installed, so if you need your bookmarks? You sync and login to the browser....
but sometimes, when we save?
(just recently we had been given our own network identity, so it'll be like *school name* then *last name* and then it auto-saves into *your file path*
it used to all be in like DOCUMENTS, but sometimes, we wouldn't always need the school computers
sometimes just the software.
So it really didn't matter where we saved, as long as we saved and printed, then we were all good.
So there would be like : Stray or Stranded Files just... shared on all the public laptops.
Biology, Sciences, Graders....
crazy.
So, I mean, is there a specific reason?
Because at the college level;? academic research is taken very seriously. it's like ; a private thing ' sometimes shared, as in the wrong people wouldn't understand it yet, because you have to learn the basic firsts,, and misunderstanding of something
would happen easily, like Lost In Translation...
like moving to a foreign country and not knowing a damn thing that's being said.
it's like that, with college level academics.
