PSTN Gateway - OCS2007 does not recover, but OCS2005 does RRS feed

  • Question

  • we have successfully developed our own PSTN Gateway. Everything works just fine in conjunciton with OCS/MOC2005.

But with OCS/MOC2007 the recovery-failover seems not to work as before.

    example scenario with OCS/MCO2005

    • a MOC user is signed in and the PSTN telefony is working
    • the PBX underlying our gateway is going down. Our gateway sends a uaCSTA message with MonitorStop for the Device
    • the MOC shows the yellow warning sign "telephony not available"
    • the PBX underlying our gateway is coming back in service
    • after a while the MOC restarts the affected device by sending MonitorStart for the device
    • our gateway sends MonitorStartResponse
    • PSTN telefony is working again and the MOCs yellow warning sign disappears

    example scenario with OCS/MCO2007

    • a MOC user is signed in and the PSTN telefony is working
    • the PBX underlying our gateway is going down. Our gateway sends a uaCSTA message with MonitorStop for the Device
    • the MOC shows the info/error icon "telephony not available"
    • the PBX underlying our gateway is coming back in service
    • after a while the MOC restarts the affected device by sending MonitorStart for the device
    • our gateway sends MonitorStartResponse
    • PSTN telefony is available again but the MOCs info/error icon "telephony not available" does not disappear. To clarify: the PSTN telefony functionality is back there. Everything works, e.g. incoming calls are shown via the blue rectangle window, makecall is ok, and so on. But the user does not have a visible feedback regarding the back-in-service fact in this case.

    Any ideas ?
