Is the elearning server down? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I've been experiencing difficulties over the last day or so, downloading content from the XP admin course.
I've come to try again today and cannot even access the content online; IE6 returns "server not found."

I get the same error accessing the help pages that Alicia recommended to another poster on help with the offline viewer but I can access this forum & a number of other sites that I regularly use so I assume that my browser's ok.

I'm currently in a hotel, paying the equivalent of £16 per day for internet access and had set myself the goal of completing all of the online material for the course during the week that I'm here.

    Just to add some detail:
The site/page being rejected is http://www.microsoftelearning.com/eLearning/gotoResource.aspx?resourceId=077c5b4d-247f-42c1-8afa-ddffde0ca6fc&language=en-US&country=US&locale=en-US&style=Learning

I can get into into learning manager, sign in &  go to my learning with no problem but when I click on the link to my course, I get diverted to a standard results page for failure to find the site. The address bar contains the address shown above.

  •  It has been brought to my attention that there were indeed problems with the offline viewer the past few days.  I have received word from the team that supports the offline viewer that these issues were addressed as of this morning.

If you are still having problems, please contact me at learnmgr@microsoft.com and I will put you in touch with the team that supports this offline player.

    Thanks!
