Web site tracking??? RRS feed

  • Question

  • My wife and I got WLOC and have it on 2 computers.  Our desk top is the hub and my son's Laptop is an add on computer.  My wife tells me that she can track every web site he goes to now, but I can't find that option on the hub computer or the laptop.  Is she right or is she doing something else.

Just curious if anyone knows about this.

  • She may be using One Care Family Safety which is parental control software. While it shares the One Care name, it is a seperate program. You can get more detail at the Family Safety website - https://fss.live.com/Default.aspx

  • Ok, before I sound too stupid.  I looked on the hub computer and did not find One Care Family Safety on it.  I did a search for it as well from the start menu and search.  I am guessing that this mean we do not have the One Care Family Safety and still need to get it?  I did not find it in Windows Live Onecare either just incase it got placed in there.

Thank you for your help with this.  We trust him but you know you have to keep up with what is going on.

  • It might be easier to ask your wife what program she is using for parental controls.

  • I'll just note that Windows Live Family Safety is a separate program and must be downloaded and installed apart from Windows Live OneCare. There are no references to it within OneCare.
