how to turn off live care RRS feed

    I bought a new camera and the instructions say to turn off any virus checking software before beginning installation from the CD that came with the camera. How do I turn off Live One Care???

    Personally, I'd ignore that ancient recommendation from the camera software. I typically ignore those suggestions and proceed with the install. If the install fails, *then* I disable the protection.
    Open OneCare, click change settings - virus and spyware tab - you'll see the option to turn off the protection there. You also have the option to disable the firewall on the Firewall tab.
