• Question

  • I have over 130 updates that have come to my laptop. However when I see they are installing afterwards most of them fail. Why is this happening. I also received an error message that I am missing a file names MSCVR120.dll what is this for and why am I missing this? I had windows 7 and chose to upgrade to windows 10 back when it was offered for free. I had so much trouble with my laptop that I restored it back to windows 7 not realizing that the period of time for the free offer for windows 10 had expired. If I had known that I would not have restored my laptop. I need someone from Microsoft to read this letter. I am hoping that they will let me go back onto windows 10. I like it much better than windows 7. In any case why are my updates failing? And what is the error message about with the file MSCVR120.dll? What does that file do? And how can I get it back?

Thank you for your attention in this matter.
