    Hi,

    If my client is not joined to the domain and I need to install outlook client. Should I  use IFD? 

    When trying without IFD , error is being popped in the configuration

    Hi,

    yes, as far as I know you will have to enable IFD, in order to join users from other domains using the outlook client.
