MSCRM2013 New Forms vs Old Forms, Merge Forms, what we loose if we dont merge into new forms ? RRS feed

    Hi

    When we import from MSCRM2011 into MSCRM2013 we can contonue to use the old forms for example for Account entity we can continue to use the "Information" form instead of new "Account" form. 

    The old form in MSCRM2013 looks also quite new with new style, this style is also referred to as an Intermediate step.

    But question is what do we loose functional that is worth the effort to use the Merge Form and start using the new forms.

    Is it only Bing map ? or 3 Column layout of new forms ?  Auto save ? or what is it exactly ?I think most of the things can be used also on old form. Or ?

    Looking forward to hear more about this.
