Distorted color on certain websites through IE8

  My mother's interior design website has photos on the homepage and in a gallery.  With Explorer 8, the home page looks fine, but all of the pictures in the gallery look blue.  She has been told by the webmaster that the problem is with Explorer 8 and there is nothing that can be done.  Does anybody have any advice for us?
