Move CRM 4.0 OU to another AD folder RRS feed

  • Hi all,

    Is there any problem moving the CRM 4.0 Active Directory OU from a AD folder to another one?

  • It should not be a problem.

     Just move the groups and reset the IIS or restart the machine. CRM just store the ad groups guids not the path.

     

    I did that once a long time ago.

  • We have had an Administrator move and rename the OU created during the CRM install. Is there a way of finding out what the exact location and name was before the rename and will this have any impact? First research shows that everything works as expected (presumably because it uses AD GUIDs) but would like some re-assurance.
