C# Xamarin Android. How call FindViewById method by static method (same class)? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I think I have run aground for a trivial problem: I need to change the text of a textView by a static method (elapsed timer).  I tried to istantiate in the static method the Activity class to call FindViewById, but it doesn't work.  Can you help me?  I'm a beginner.  Thanks.

  • Hi Hectasoft,

    Thank you for posting here.

Since this thread is related to Xamarin Android, I don't suggest that you post it here. Therefore, I will move it to where is forum for forum to redirect it to the correct forum.

The Visual C# forum discusses and asks questions about the C# programming language, IDE, libraries, samples, and tools.

    Best Regards,
