    I'm no programmer... so I was wondering how I can tell scheduler (for vista home x64) to sync only on the insertion of my thubdrive (since the thumbdrive contains the folder that I want to sync to My Doccuments). I'd assume that it has something to do with scheduling it basd off of a reaction to (possibly) some hardware change (like adding the storage device named "Craig Drive", but I do not understand the exact way to do this.) I read the help file that makes it so I can schedule by time, but I work on things sparatically, and my thumbdrive is never in my desktop at the same time day to day.... ever. Any light on this matter would be appreciated, Thank You, Craig

    Welcome to be here!

    Through my understanding, you have a USB hardware and want to sync the folder to your Documents, if this is right.

    create a new folder pair, like left folder set it to be the removable one,  right to be some folder under your Documents.

    that's OK. But if you want to begin sync at exactly when connected seems impossible. You should sync it mannually after connected the hardware.Anything uncertain, please let me know it.

    Thank you for your comment, I can sync it mannually,and this new program is awesome, I use it to sync my college assignnments (thumbdrive) folder, to my college assignments in My Documents, it's really nice. I have it scheduled to run every hour, and it doesn't run if the thumbdrive is not plugged in, but if you do figure out a way to schedule it by a change in hardware, (like the computer recognizing the thumbdrive as new hardware), then please let me know. Once again, thank you for this really great program, and I appreciate the help.
