Reinstall settings/programs/passwords/drivers from virtual disk RRS feed

    Hi,

    I have "attached" in disk management the vhdx file windows created to access the system image on my broken harddrive (restoring the system image did not work with any program). So now I have all files and folders of my old harddrive on my new harddrive :) 

    The problem is nothing is installed or set-up. Is there a way to automatically install everything? If there is not, how would you go about setting up at least office, chrome and drivers?

    I'd ask in the Windows forum on Microsoft Community.
