  • Question

  • Hello!! When I update driver, Debugview sometimes shows this error message.

1). "A driver is mapping physical memory 00481000->00481FFF that it does not own. This can cause internal CPU corruption. so this problem can be fully debugged."

In addition, I found "!" mark on "Microsoft SDR Ethernet Adapter" in device manager.

So, I conduct HW reset but problem is not solved. So,  I don't know why this error happens and how I handle to remedy this error.

    2) Moreover, I want to know when this message happens. I modify source code for channel switching on two devices.

(Device 1 periodically sendes data packets and switches its channel when it receives ACK. Device 2 receives packet from device 1 and switches its channel when I receives data packet from device 1.)

"[TEMP1] make ack for mac address."

Is acknowledge xmit when this message is shown in conducting "__Ack()" function?

    3) My last question is "is it possible to change SORA IP address only by HW reset or update device driver?"

    Thanks.

    • You should restart Windows and try to enable SDR miniport driver again. This message happens when the driver could not allocate continuous physical memory.

    • You could change IP address without resetting hardware or updating device driver.
