just like "Nicos" I am also getting this CreateProcess Failed error but at a different stage of installation.
the senario is that I have two servers running on virtual PC.
The first one is a Domain controller(windows server 2008) it has exchange server 2007.
The second server is windows server 2003 which has SQL and CRM 3.0 installed.
the installation of CRM 3.0 on the second server was not a problem
The problem occured when I tried to install the e-mail router on the exchange server(Also the DC- server 2008)
as usual I installed the .NET version 1.1 then installed the NDP1.1sp1-KB867460-X86 as required by the CRM 3.0(even though the server 2008 has .net 3.0 in it)
after the install the following error occured:
"CreateSetup failed. for additional details see logfile
C:\users\Administrator\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\MSCRM\Logs\crm30exchangesetup.log"
I uninstalled the .net framwork and the NDP1.1sp1-KB867460-X86 then installed the
.net framwork 1.1 again
the CRM install process (for e-mail router )did not give error but was looking for the NDP1.1sp1-KB867460-X86.
Then I repeated the whole thing again to see if it occures with the SP and It Did.
