revise Won Quote or order CRM 4.0 RRS feed

  • Dear All,

     

    if a customer accept a quote it became "won" and an order has been generated.

     

    Sometime it happen that we have a discount on that quote that we forgot to put in the quote befor order transformation.

     

    we can always deleted the order; but once the quote is marked as won it's impossible to delete/revise it.

     

    Do you have any suggestion??

  • Hi Luca, you can modify the order generated from the quote to include the discount.

     

    If you really need to re-open the original quote because, then you'll need to develop a custom ISV button on the quote menu to force CRM to re-open the quote.

     

    We've done the same thing for service activities because they sometimes get linked to the wrong case.
