WHS Installation over Windows Server 2003 32-bit ? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi everyone !

I'm trying to install whs on a hp proliant server wich was running on win2k3 64-bit, I formated and tried ti install whs directly, the installation gave me a fiew bluescreen, especially on the hardware detection, but in the end I was able to boot whs. although whs was booting, I had too much hardware issue that I couldn't fix, has the drivers setup software wouldn't recognize whs has win2k3 ... So I cannot install all the drivers and software required to run that type of server (dual xeon. 3 disk raid scsi, etc). I cannot perform firmware update also.

So the question is : Can you do a clean windows server 2003 32-bit installation, install all drivers / software required for server to run and then run the WHS customization in a separate process ?

    Thank You !
