Microsoft Certification passing score RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hey Guys,

I just passed MCTS 70-562 exam with a score of 826... Very happy that my 'buring the midnight oil' has brought me a certification... However, there is one thig that I havent quite figured out yet. The passing score for microsoft exams is 700(they have not mentioned anything wrt the %age).

Also, I had studied from the MCTS 70-562 self paced training kit... In the practice tests given, the passing score was 80%.

So, if we were to assume that 700 is in fact 80% of the total score then it means that 100% is 875.

But the irony is that I have read some blogs in which ppl have mentioned them getting scores ~ 900 or so. Wonder how that happened?

Can anyone clarify what I am missing here??
