Windows 10 system image for full restore RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi Everyone,

Last year I created a full system image which I was able to use to restore my system completely when my ssd died.  I just tried to create a new one as my system has new software added etc.  When I went to the section under windows 7 to create a full system image the resulting image didn't look at all like the first one that I made.  It was missing key components like boot, bootmgr, boot.efi a folder entitled boot and in addition to others one entitled windowsimagebackup.  Does anyone know why this would be?

I tried to include a screen shot but it won't let me.  Any input would be greatly appreciated as I'm not sure the backup I created would actually completely restore the system.
