    I work in a small office and we have around 10 computers and other appliances. I am of the understanding that these are not required to be PAT tested and they are only to be formally visually inspected.

    My question is; if an appliance is only visually inspected and not fully tested, should it have a pass label or not?

    The first stage of a PAT test is a Visual Inspection, but there are several stages that need to be performed after that before an item can be deemed safe and a safety certificate issued.
