StackOverflow in .NET service in sechost.dll scDispatcherLoop Windows Server 2008 R2 RRS feed

  • Question

  • The stack of scDispatcherLoop grows until eventual stack overflow exception in some called method. The debugger shows the assembly code makes calls to _imp_LocalAlloc. It seems this happens in loop of scDispatcherLoop. Source code would be nice to have. How can I get Microsoft to verify (and fix) or how can I avoid having scDispatcherLoop do this?

First post, be nice. Back in the day of RedHat Linux 6.0 I fixed a few bugs, but not in Windows before. At this time the stack overflow happens at customer at around 8 days running. For now, I have used editbin to increase the stack so overflow does not happen for approximately 1 year. Of course, solving the root cause is always the goal.

Any help is appreciated. First question = where to post this to get an answer?

    Debugger module info: sechost.pdb 6.01.7600.16385
