  • Hi Pentium
It is possible to do it with mail merge.  Do a search in google how to mail merge into table you will get lots of result.

  • Andy is right, it is possible to merge multiple quote products into a table in your Word document. There is even a sample Word template provided with CRM 4.0 (called 'Customer Quote', I think). However, this procedure is fraught with difficulties. Formatting is extremely difficult and even basic changes require some experience with the Word programming features.

kgorczewski's suggestion to use a SRS report is normally more practical, even though it will require a developer with Visual Studio report development experience.

  • Hi,

Solution # 1. Create a SSRS Reprot with the formatted template. Convert the report into PDF and send it as email.
For this you need to generate a PDF on the fly by using SSRS Web Service, which would required some input paramters and the Web Service URL and the credentials to connect to the Server.

  • What you're looking to do is called a directory mail merge. If you're googling, use this term and you should find answers.
