Install Windows XP RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,  I'm trying to install Windows XP Pro on to my Sony Vaio PCG-GRZ630.  I delete the existing partitioned spaces and format a new one, C:, using the NTFS format system.  After the files are copied and the computer is supposed to reboot and continue the setup in the Windows graphic mode, it doesn't.  I'm back at the beginning of the setup.  I've done this each and everyway possible.  It asks to remove the floppy disk from drive A: before the reboot, which I believe refers to the actual Windows cd.  I've done that, although it makes no sense for me to do that.  When I do it's "Operating System not found."  When I don't remove it, I'm back at the initial setup screen.  I've searched many different sites and have not found this problem addressed.  Any thoughts from anyone?  Thanks!!
