Blackjack 2 MP3 ringtone FileSizeType RRS feed

  • Question

  •

While trying to get my Blackjack 2 to play mp3's as ringtones I deleted my FileSizeType key from my phone.  This was what I thought to be one of the steps in making larger song limits for mp3's.  Either way, I am without now and it says I can not have a ringtone over 0kb.  If anyone can please help me to recover or get a new FileSizeType onto my phone and at least get me back to square one where maybe I could edit it correctly this time it would be greatly appreciated. I use Resco registry editor on my phone. Thanks a lot.

  • Do you have a program on the device called Master Reset or Clear Storage?  If so, that will wipe the device and reset it back to factory default.  It should be clearly discussed in your user manual.

It may be this but look in your manual to be sure:

Turn Phone off....hold directional pad UP while turning the phone back on. Follow directions on screen.

  • Unless there is someone with a Blackjack II that can provide that info, I think the fastest way to get it back is to do a Master Reset

  • If it does come down to that, how would I go about doing  a master reset?

  • Thanks a lot. I did a master reset after saving all of my stuff onto my miniSD.  I got the FileSizeType back. Thanks for all the help.
