Internet Explorer 7 Problem

Question
-
I cannot go to a website by typing in the web address...the program freezes for several minutes before "Not Responding" comes up.
I CAN get to websites through my Favorites list or through Google, Yahoo, hyperlinks, etc.
Why is direct address enty not working?

You're off topic for this forum, which is dedicated to Windows Live OneCare. You may want to try the Microsoft Public newsgroups here: http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/list/en-us/default.aspx or the link that Jim provided earlier in this topic thread.
