I'm running Win2000 SP4. I've tried several times to install updates using both "express" and "custom" options. The updates download successfully but then fail to install. I've searched the KB but could not find an answer there.

I get the following message in the browser from the Microsoft Updates website at the end of the process:

    "Failed Updates

Problem: A problem on your computer is preventing updates from being downloaded or installed
Solution: To fix the problem, try installing the updates again. If that doesn't work, use the Troubleshooter to try solve the problem."

What can I do to get the updates to install?
